Kibera Now
A group of children play in the area of Laini Saba in Kibera. Laini Saba translates into 'firing range' and was an area where Nubian soldiers from the King's African Rifles trained. Dozens of Nubian families once lived in the area. Now only a handful of Nubian families live there as demolitions of original Nubian homesteads have forced many to move to other more Nubian-dominated areas of Kibera like Makina, Kambi Muru and Lindi.
